~ Club Awards for 2016 ~

The annual presentation night took place at Central Park Clubhouse on Friday 3rd March 2017. Doors opened at 7pm and evening started at 7:30pm. Everyone was welcome to attend to which there was another huge turnout, with lots of friends and family helping us celebrate our clubs achievements. It was fantastic – Thank You to Everyone!!

~ Club Awards for 2009 ~

The presentation night took place at The Glentworth Club in Lowfield Street on Wednesday 19th May 2010. Awards were presented by Peter Collins, a veteran of the club and member of the “Diehards” club – a group of current and ex-Harriers who were in their prime in the 1940′s and 1950′s.
The Diehards also held their annual meeting at the venue.
In addition, Michael Holland gave a very interesting presentation on the forthcoming book on the history of the Dartford Harriers, which will be published later this year.

  • Best Male Track: Adam Chalk (U17 indoor and outdoor 60m hurdles and octathlon)
  • Best Female Field: Gemma Brown (U15 discus bronze in the English Schools)
  • Best Male Field: Tim Billings (U17 shot)
  • Best Female Single Performance: Grace Clements (senior heptathlon)
  • Best Male Single Performance: Adam Chalk (U17 400m hurdles)
  • Best Male Road: David Kitcher (M50 5k, 5m and 10k)
  • Best Female Cross Country: Cara Oliver (W35 good performances in the British masters, Kent and southern championships)
  • Best Male Cross country: Nick Wood (U20 good performances in nine races)
  • Senior Male Cross Country Championship: Tony Durey
  • Best Female Masters Athlete: Pat Halstead (W55 club records and wins in the 800m and 1500m)
  • Best Male Masters Athlete: Arthur Kimber (M70 club records in the 800m and 1,500m, won the southern counties road 10k)
  • Best Team Performance: Samantha Brown, Jodie Lesley, Grace Potthurst & Natalie Hickmott (U17 4x400m relay Kent Champions)
  • Most Dedicated Athlete: Jack Fox (U20 triple, long and high jump)
  • Club Woman of the Year: Claire Capon
  • Club Man of the Year: Bob Hammond



~ Club Awards for 2008 ~

The presentation night took place at The Glentworth Club in Lowfield Street on Wednesday 3rd June 2009. Awards were presented by Anna Wittekind, former club member and distinguished athlete with many Club Records and international honours to her credit. Anna achieved the amazing feat of being three times English Schools 800m champion in the 1980′s.
