This event is the longest, most continuously-held road race in Kent which Dartford Harriers AC are proud to have been involved with the organisation since its inception. DHAC endeavour to provide a high-quality event for competitors of all abilities. Please spread the word, get involved and support your club. It’s a fabulous event that is always well attended, making you feel part of the community!!!
A a massive well done to all of the organising committee who dedicate so much time in preparing for this event and making it the success it is. It should not be under estimated, the work that goes in. A big “Thank You” to all those who volunteered! Hopefully more Dartford Harriers members will assist with marshalling this event. Our club relies on the success of this event.
Remember, there is a 1 mile fun run for kids or anyone not able to run the full course.
Please put the date in your diaries!
~ Dartford Harriers 40th Half Marathon ~
2015 saw us change the event date to March. You may have seen some members wearing our fabulous blue t-shirts to advertise the new date with it’s slogan… On your March, Get Set, Go… The change of date was welcomed by our competitors as it’s a pre-race for the London Marathon and the weather isn’t so hot, so we kept the timing of the event the same. Therefore it was held on… Sunday 13th March 2016!
2016 saw 913 runners pounding the streets of Dartford, the winner from Highgate Harriers finishing in a time of 01:11:42.
