The Kent Champs for the first time was held at the
Kent Showground, Detling
on Saturday January 6th .

Dartford Harriers A.C. had a good turn out as always in this event.
A silver medal was won by Elaine Murty in the u20 womens race and
a team silver was also won in the u20 womens catagory.

It was a very foggy day especially for the early races, so much so that
it was hard to find the warm up area. The course was fairly flat but the
very muddy conditions made it very tough.
